The Week's Program

There will be minor adjustments to this draft as the summer approaches, but you’ll see that each day has its own flow and pattern: plenty of time to write (but is there really ever enough?), genre-specific workshops and classes on craft, readings, time to sneak in a swim, a run, a walk, a paddle in a canoe, a spin in your car to the town of Damariscotta, or maybe a nap.

Why not swap a manuscript with a fellow poet, then put your feet up for a conversation on the Kennedy Learning Center deck? Not a night writer? Loons and owls too loud? Maybe you’ll stroll down the road to the Red Farmhouse “off campus” for an informal after-hours gathering (BYO). It’s a short week, but we hope to fill it with enough options without being overwhelming.
