Womens' Wilderness Trips
Our Women's Wilderness trips are intended to bring one back to the basics...Rest, Relaxation and Restoration! Our women’s trips are custom designed and very flexible for the participants to maximize fun and minimize stress.
This year we are kayaking in the ocean. Our offering is a women’s ocean kayak trip that is scheduled for September 10th thru the 14th. This year’s excursion will begin at our oceanfront property in Bremen with a lobster bake and overnight. The evening will be a time to relax and focus on great grub, drinks, laughter, and trip planning. The group will head out the next day in tandem and single kayaks traveling along the coast in and around islands exploring Muscongus Bay. For those who are new to sea kayaking and Muscongus Bay you’re in for a treat. If you haven’t spent much time in a kayak there will be plenty of time to learn and hone your skills. The numerous islands in the bay make for easier ocean paddling and will allow you to witness the amazing plant and animal life. Our goal is to relax, explore and enjoy whether you prefer to paddle or sit on the island with a book. The small seacoast village of Friendship is our final destination with our last overnight at a B&B with a nice warm shower. You don’t want to miss this outing.
Fun and capable staff lead the trips and help organize gourmet meals that will satisfy the pallet after an invigorating day in the wilderness. Join us for the fun, bring a friend!
The following dates are for our 2008 Women's Wilderness trip:
