Summer 2008 9/11 Family Camp is scheduled for Monday August 18th
thru Friday the 22nd.
The official "start" day of camp is on Monday, however, if you want to arrive in the afternoon
on Sunday the 17th and help us clean cabins, you are welcome to do so.

Ladder Co 3 / Battalion 6's Lawrence Buddy Cleary glows in the spotlight on "The Price is Right". The Price
is Right's Bob Barker said "come on down" and Buddy was
on stage towards his winning the big prize of a cocoa maker among

As many of you may know, Angus King and his family visited Family Camp the 1st year of Family Camp before ending his
term as the Governor of the State of Maine. Angus, Mary, Ben & Molly
then went on a tour of the United States in a 4-wheeled living
room.

| Kieve's Dick Kennedy receives "The Jefferson
Award for Education & Literacy." Dick was among over 50
candidates who where nominated for this prestigious
