2011 Year End Review - Thank you!!!

Dear Alumni,
Thank you so much for all your help and support these past 5 years. We closed out the year with another successful fund raising campaign and because of your amazing generosity, we far exceeded our fundraising goal of $5,000 for our end of the year campaign! In addition, we are happy to announce that we have now raised enough money so that each Summer moving forward, we will be able to award at least one scholarship for a camper to attend Kieve, ensuring the Kieve spirit will live on in campers who otherwise wouldn't have the chance to attend. This is a really impressive accomplishment and something we can all be proud of and look to as a lasting gift we've given to Kieve.
Of course we will still work to grow the fund so that we can ensure we can send more and more kids to Kieve every year, but for now on behalf of our scholarship campers, past, present and future, Thank you!!! We will be in touch later this winter with details about our campers going up this summer and our annual spring celebration in NYC, which will most likely at the end of March or early April. Until then we wish you all the best for 2012, and as always, if you would like to learn more about the Loyalty Fund or have any ideas or suggestions for us, please let us know.

The Loyalty Fund was started in 2007 by former counselors Matt McKenna, Jason Nahra, and Tom Hartenstein, who themselves were greatly impacted by their time at Kieve. The goal is to share the Kieve experience with those who might not otherwise be able to attend. A summer at Camp Kieve can be a very powerful experience for somebody, helping them to grow and develop self esteem, as well as learn important lessons in team work and treating others with kindness and respect. It is our hope that this fund will grow to be a fully endowed fund in the future. Thanks in advance for your help and support from the Kieve community and also the young men whose lives will be shaped with this wonderful experience.
