Alumni and Family Adventure Camp

Kieve and Wavus are pleased to invite alumni and families back to camp this summer from August 17th - August 22nd for our Alumni and Family Adventure Camp. This is an opportunity to rediscover the home of your childhood summers, to reconnect with old friends and a chance to meet new friends with whom you share a common experience.  This is also a wonderful time to relax and play in your old stomping grounds and to experience a little bit of what it’s like to be a camper all over again or for the very first time.  As campers you will have the opportunity to try different summer camp activities, go on various local trips, explore both of the Kieve Wavus camps, or simply share a morsel of time with those you care about most on beautiful Damariscotta Lake.

Here are just a few of the activities that alumni and families who join us this year will be able to challenge themselves on:

  • Riflery & Archery
  • High Ropes Course
  • Aqua zip ride
  • Pottery
  • Water skiing
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Sailing & Swimming
  • Canoeing & Kayaking
  • Trips on the Snowgoose III
  • Trips to other nearby destinations
  • Evening campfires, storytelling, and entertainment

We will provide instruction for activities you haven’t done before, you will have private cabins, all of your meals provided for you (imagine not having to cook for a week!), evening entertainment, and quiet nights by the camp fire. And if you would just like to sit on the porch and read your book, that’s fine too!

In addition to all of our in camp summer activities, there will be chances to spend the day on Kieve's lobster boat and explore other local areas of interest.  Plus there will be opportunities to travel between camps for daily and evening activities with the families participating in our 9/11 family camp at the Kieve campus.

We hope you will consider staying with us for the entire week in order to experience the full camp culture however in order to accommodate for busy summer schedules we have the option to stay for only a few nights.
