Alumni Weekend and the Wavus 85th Reunion was a BIG success!

Thanks to all the volunteers and staff who helped make this a special event. It was very special hearing camp stories of old Wavus family names like Rea, Brown, Sorrentino, Limbert, Hart, Westerman, Dorman, Hansmann and many others throughout the entire weekend. Alumni & Family Adventure Camp was LOTS of fun!

We offered families the opportunity to share the challenges, experiences, and atmosphere of both Kieve and Wavus, which have previously only been available to their sons and daughters or when they were campers themselves. The actual daily schedule will flex to meet the interests of those participating.

Activities included:

Fun on the Adventure Course
Pottery
Swimming
Relaxing
Canoeing and sailing on the lake
An afternoon playing on an ocean beach
A day out on the ocean on the Snow Goose III
In the evenings we can enjoy a pick-up whiffle ball game, followed by a campfire with stories and songs.

Throughout the week the emphasis was on sharing experiences, relaxing, and enjoying the wonderful ambiance of the Wavus property and people. It was truly a magical time for all.
