Conference Center Facilities

KLC is a fully equipped conference center situated on the shores of Lake Damariscotta with overnight accomodations for 31. In addition to eleven twin-bedded guest rooms, each with private bath and both interior and exterior exits, the main lodge houses a fully-equipped kitchen overseen by a professional cook, a dining room, a large wraparound porch, a small lounge with comfortable chairs, reading lights and a combination TV/VCR/DVD, and a large conference room that can be configured in a number of ways. The KLC also offers wireless internet access.

Four additional bedrooms are located nearby in a recently-completed annex, allowing the Learning Center to house as many as thirty-one guests overnight.

Adjacent to the main building is a multi-element adventure course, a private dock with canoes, kayaks and sailboats in season, and a large, outdoor hot tub. And a twenty minute drive away is the Kieve Landing in Bremen (take a tour), a fourteen acre oceanfront property with a large picnic deck and a deepwater wharf where Learning Center guests can enjoy, in season, lobster cookouts or cruises around Muscongus Bay in the Snowgoose III, Kieve’s 49-passenger, Coast Guard certified tour boat (available at extra cost).

The Learning Center features full housekeeping services and such amenities as a fax machine, audio/visual aids and wireless internet. A number of small areas are available for breakout groups.
